Instead of breaking this down by year, I will keep this page a simple as possible. Most Farmall Cubs were painted Harvester Red with the rear wheel rims painted a silver color. I have found that the color that Rustoleum calls “metallic finish” (pictured right)is a good match. Following is a list of some exceptions.
From 1956 through 1958 the 11 bar grille was painted white.
1958 throught 1963 featured a four bar grille that was white. 1960 was also the year they began painting the Farmall Cub yellow.
During the first three months of 1950 there were some Farmall Cub demonstrator models produced that were painted white. I’m told there were some red parts on them but I have no idea what was painted red.
